Chosen Song, Synopsis and Visual Examples

After doing my genre research on Electronica, I've decided to change my song, and therefore genre. My new genre of focus is Electropop, a similar more mainstream version of my original genre.

The song I've chosen to make my music video on is Bravado by my artist Lorde.

Music Video Synopsis
The video story line will be a boy transitioning into a girl. It will be cut by a video effect created by Music Visual software and the main character lip syncing. The video will be shot in a house, mainly the bathroom, bedroom, and in front of a projector. The shots of the character doing their makeup and getting ready will be shot in the bedroom and bathroom, and the shots of the character lip syncing will be in front of a projector screen in another location.

In order to be productive and not have to make the character get ready twice (the makeup and getting ready process will probably take around 2 hours), I'm going to try to shoot the whole video in one day. This is going to be very challenging, so some of the 'B roll' footage will probably by shot in a different location at a different time, depending on time restraints.

Here's my lyric analysis, with more detail of the story line and synopsis.
